To run FocalPoint, proceed as follows:

1.  Load ClustanGraphics 5.
2.  Click File/Open and select the ClustanGraphics file "Mammals".
3.  Click FocalPoint in the Cluster menu.
4.  Click Run, and FocalPoint will complete 5000 random trials on the Mammals Case Study.  On our PC, this takes 4½ seconds.
5.  Click Review Results and 7 top solutions are recorded.

In just five mouse clicks you have completed your first FocalPoint cluster analysis on the Mammals data set and found 7 different "top" solutions.  The optimum 5 cluster classification for Mammals will be showing as solution 1, having resulted from around two-thirds of the random trials.  A preview of this analysis can be found here.
